Another Chance hosts a multitude of business and community goers for a day of fun, entertainment, networking, and food! Founder's Day is our biggest fundraising event — raising money for individuals undergoing vocational training. This community picnic honors the Late CEO of Another Chance, Dr. Mang Ndukwe — psychologist, humanitarian, father, and entrepreneur.
Individuals are encouraged to create signs and banners days before the event. The game lasts an average of 2 hours and then everyone is served lunch. Afterwards, all cheerleaders and players receive ribbons or medals — and the score dictates who gets the championship trophy!
Every year through fundraisers, donations and sponsorship, Another Chance helps our clients experience a worthwhile journey to a place outside their normal environment. Past trips include Tybee Island (2014), Disney World (2015), Wilderness at The Smokies (2016), Broadway on the Beach (2017), and our first cruise on Carnival Cruises (2018). These annual trips bring once-in-a-lifetime memories to individuals in the disabled community.
Join us for our annual community celebrations — Brunch with Ego (May 9th at 10am) and our beloved Gala & Prom at Another Chance, celebrating our participants and the community we've built together.
